next big Q

so here is a new question:

does God intervine in the world?

if yes then we are admitting that our loving god chooses bad things to happen- or else he wouldn't intervine, right?

i know there is loads of scripture that would saw yes, God does intervine, but why should we just believe that?

Mikel said to me the other day that she thinks God works through us, putting ideas in our heads and things like that-- by changing me i change the world.

i think i agree, we are supposed to be the god light in the world.

any thoughts??

  1. that is a big question... it's something that must be searched out just like everything else. it would require much more space than i have to comment, plus i don't want you to have to wade through all of it. i will be in lewisville on march 2nd & 3rd to speak to the young adults at FBCL, so it would be cool to talk then if you aren't busy.

    peace be with you,

  2. i thought i would give you a good book suggestion. read "letters from a skeptic" by greg boyd. he is a radical pastor who used to be atheist. his views on christianity are incredible. i love him.
or for recreational reading... "what is the what" by dave eggars.

    peace be with you,
